Life Lighthouse offers a diverse approach to supporting you….

Although part of my journey working with people, began with the body and mind, firstly through nursing and caring, then through yoga teaching and therapy, and latterly as a trainee psychotherapist, many of the fundamental teachings of yoga remain woven into everything I offer today. Bringing together the parts of the whole, with kindness and care.

My many years of training, teaching, practice and development has led me to look at ‘yoga’ in an open and enquiring way, as a ‘way of being’ with the capacity to take us far beyond the physical.  For me, ‘yoga’ is the practice of being interested and inquisitive, exploring, learning, developing, and identifying ways of caring for your whole self. Then … taking action to empower yourself.

You may be interested to look at how you manage your thoughts, stresses, feelings, and emotions. You may be reflecting on how you fit into the world and connect with others. Counselling and psychotherapeutic approaches could be helpful here.

You might consider how your body moves and serves you, and how you could be supported to feel more comfortable being in your body.  Body/ mind, yoga based therapy could be useful to you.

Perhaps you are considering what path you’d like to take, or changes you’d like to make to enjoy a greater sense of fulfillment and empowerment. There are many streams to follow in enquiry. Some are supported by talking or really having someone listen and hear you. At other times a more body based approach may help you to settle and feel more comfortable to allow the enquiry to begin.

My work offers several routes to help you uncover, discover, recover …. feel supported by another.
