Integrative Psychotherapy
What is Integrative Psychotherapy?
A personalised and flexible approach to therapy, meeting the wholeness of who you are.
I believe the true strength of Integrative Psychotherapy lies in recognizing that talking alone is not always enough to support the complexity of your needs. The mind and body deeply influence one another. By attending to both, we are far more likely to experience the enduring, meaningful change we seek.
Integrative psychotherapy and counselling draw on elements from different therapeutic models to support you in a sensitive, individualized way. Because your journey is entirely unique, your therapy should be flexible and responsive to your evolving needs.
My practice is primarily person-centred. I am here to listen openly and understand exactly what you hope to achieve. To best support you, I organically integrate various evidence-based approaches, including:
-
- Humanistic Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
- Yoga Therapy
- Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Together, we will collaborate to find a meaningful way forward that truly works for you.
What I offer?
In person, and online therapy and counselling
As a trainee integrative psychotherapist in my third year, and an experienced mind-body and yoga therapist, I offer a welcoming, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where you will be heard and respected.
My aim is to provide a safe environment where you feel fully supported in your enquiry and exploration. I combine traditional talk therapy with somatic approaches that help access the mind through the body.
My practice is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-friendly, and provides an affirmative space for gender, sexual, and relationship diversity (GSRD). Alongside my private practice, my experience includes working with a crisis service, a women’s centre counselling service, and a charity supporting individuals with complex pain.
I am available to work with you online or in person at my consulting room in Grantham.
Areas of Support
I have extensive experience helping clients navigate a variety of challenges, including:
-
- Stress and life challenges
- Anxiety and depression
- Chronic pain
- Grief and bereavement
- Trauma
- Living with cancer or other life-altering health issues
- Life transitions and searching for meaning or understanding
Outdoor Therapy: ‘Walk as you Talk’ at Grantham House
An alternative to traditional therapy
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Stress, anxiety, grief, illness, and unexpected life transitions can all take a heavy toll. For some, embarking on traditional indoor therapy can feel daunting or restrictive.
Walk and talk therapy offers a gentle way to enter the therapeutic process. By stepping outside, you gain the combined benefits of counselling and the grounding experience of movement in nature.
We will meet in the quiet, tranquil grounds of Grantham House, which offer the privacy and space needed to open up and explore what is troubling you.
