Integrative Psychotherapy
I am currently training in Integrative Psychotherapy with The Minded Institute. As a trainee with ‘readiness to practice’, I am now working with clients seeking therapy.
What is Integrative Psychotherapy?
Integrative Psychotherapy recognises that sometimes, talking alone is not enough to support the complexity of a person’s needs. Therefore in addition to counselling, and talking therapy, I may also offer other therapeutic support. For example, breathwork, mindfulness or simple movement. Each person’s journey through therapy is unique and as such therapy provided needs to be sensitive to the person’s needs and flexible in how these needs might be supported.
What I offer?
As a trainee integrative psychotherapist, and body-mind, yoga therapist I offer a welcoming, inclusive and non judgemental space where you will be heard and respected. My aim is to provide a safe place where you will be supported in your enquiry and exploration. I combine talk therapy with approaches which can help access the mind via the body. These may include mindfulness, breath work, posture and movement and other techniques to work with the whole person. Work can be online, or in-person in my Grantham consulting room.
I have experience in and can offer support with the following:
Stress management
Anxiety and depression
Sleep issues
Navigating grief and bereavement
Trauma
Chronic pain
Living with cancer and other chronic or life altering health issues.
Navigating life stages and transitions, and searching for meaning and understanding of life.
Low cost therapy
As a trainee, I am currently offering a limited number of low-cost therapy sessions weekly.
If you would like to see if I am the right therapist for you, please feel free to contact me to arrange an introductory call.
